Alpaca and Llama Encounters

Private Farm Tours

During your hour-long tour, we will educate you on the different types of alpacas and differences between alpacas and llamas. We discuss how we harvest and process the alpaca and llama fiber here at our farm. We provide healthy treats for you to feed the alpacas while on your tour.  You can take photos and selfies of our friendly alpacas and llamas.  You will leave with a smile on your face after spending time with our gentle farm animals.

Hike with Llamas

Are you looking for a peaceful experience?  Our llamas and alpacas will help you unwind as you hike around our beautiful 32-acre farm situated between Short Hill and the Blue Ridge Mountain Range in Loudoun County, Virginia.  We will teach you how to hold and walk your llama or alpaca. You will have fun with our nature obstacle course as you step over the fallen trees as your talented hiking companion will also step or jump over.  As you duck under the branches, your hiking companion will do the same.  Or, you can stay on the trail for a leisurely hike.

Weddings

Our alpacas and llamas are gentle and very sweet with their soft “hums” making a perfect backdrop for your wedding guests. They can be as involved in your special day as you wish, from a small background feature to your main event of walking down the aisle.  Whatever role our alpacas play, they will certainly charm and entertain your guests and add an extra special touch to your special day.
